So, this is me always on the hunch to try something new. Always looking for a natural way to lighten my dark areas on my skin. I.E in between my thighs and in between my back folds (rolls, flab’s) our whatever you want to call them. Ugh. Or, to just soften my skin even more. With that being said, I did it. Yes I ran me a bath with lavish ingredients I would say. I sprinkled Himalayan Salt, a touch of Epsom salt and I then added the citrus fruit. This fruit concoction consisted of grapefruit, naval orange, lime, and bitter orange. The aroma was amazing.......... Thinking of it, the aroma came from the scented epsom salt. It was done. It was beautiful. The bath water was a site to look at. ( Like right out of a vacation resort spa photo) So, there I was sitting in a bath tub full of Citrus. Not thinking twice about it. Hoping that it will have some sort of benefit. Maybe it did maybe it didn’t. I’d never try it again, well at least at home under my own understanding and guidance!!!! Citrus Me Not PLEASE. Once I added the bar of soap to the bath tub I began to itch so bad. I thought “maybe I’m having an allergic reaction”. OMG! That was the worst thing ever. I had to immediately get out of the tub to shower and wash off the combination of oils from the fruit and the soap. The best part about it was that once I showered I began to feel way better. The itching begin to subside. I can’t say it enough, “it was the worst thing ever”. It was a lesson learned. With that lesson being learned I can actually say. Do avid research before you began making your own spa treatments. Yes, it may be beautiful. It may even smell wonderful. But, from my personal experience I’d stay away from it.
